One Month of Lifestreaming on Posterous
Over at Twitter today, @prohumorist (Jason Peck) asks: "you have a posterous dontcha? why that and not tumblr? how do you find it?"
Since I've been on Posterous for all of one month, I feel like I've only scraped the surface of its potential. Nonetheless, I cut a short 4.5 minute video over lunch to attempt to answer Jason's question. (Thanks for asking!) In the video, I show some of the "behind the scenes" of Posterous. And I share my three reasons for picking Posterous in the first place!1. Idiotically Easy to Post2. Blatant Transparency of Stats
3. Almost Zero Marketing Effort to Gain Visitation + Conversations More reasons have surfaced over the past 30 days. So far, I'm finding Posterous an especially exciting place to ask questions & brainstorm with people. It also has the potential to be a phenomenal platform for sharing ideas and building community. I'll continue forward with this particular lifestreaming adventure! If you are life streaming, may I ask: why? And why did you pick Posterous or Tumblr (or other!) as your Lifestreaming platform?
